Job summary

Scarsdale Public Schools seeks an innovative K-5 probationary Leave Replacement Technology Teacher for Greenacres Elementary School. You will integrate technology with the curriculum, deliver engaging lessons, and collaborate with classroom teachers to meet district technology goals.

Under supervision, you will support project-based learning, develop instructional materials, and participate in district professional development to enhance technology integration across grade levels.

Qualifications

• Understand coding, media literacy, and digital ethics per the district technology plan.
• Understand constructivist teaching models like Harvard Creative Computing Curriculum.
• Understand instructional learning and SAMR framework for tech integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement project-based technology instruction.
• Co-plan and co-teach lessons to deliver integrated technology across core curriculum.
• Develop and deliver tutorials, presentations, and handouts for technology use.
• Lead professional learning for staff to build capacity in instructional technology.
• Coordinate with administration to plan and support district technology programs.
• Assist with equipment and provide tech support during instruction when needed.
