The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks a temporary (leave replacement) General Education Teaching Assistant at Springhurst Elementary School, effective immediately- December 23, 2026. Salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with the CSEA Clerical, Teacher Aide/Teaching Assistant contract.

The successful candidate will provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher and assist in developing educational material.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirement: NYSED Level I Teaching Assistant certification.
• Temporary (leave replacement) General Education Teaching Assistant position.

Responsibilities

• As per NYSED, teaching assistants provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of a certified teacher.
• The successful candidate will lead or assist in activities, aid in the development of educational material, and perform other related duties as assigned.
