Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field from an accredited college or university.
Valid New Mexico Teacher Licensure with endorsements as applicable.
TESOL endorsement preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of New Mexico PED Academic Standards required.
Must have or obtain - First Aid/CPR/AED certification for infant/child/adult.
Navajo Nation Food Handler's permit.
Bilingual in Dine & English preferred.
Must have or meet minimum physical requirements: sitting, standing, lifting, carrying (up to 50 lbs), reaching, squatting, kneeling, or moving light furniture may be required.
Must have valid state-issued driver's license.
MUST be able to pass background checks for New Mexico state, Navajo Nation, and FBI.
SASI schools currently utilize Beyond Textbooks curriculum framework.
