Qualifications

• Hold a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Practitioner License with Elementary K–5 Endorsement, or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Must maintain credential status throughout employment.
• Preferred: Experience teaching in diverse school communities.

Responsibilities

• Build a classroom culture of excellence in Humanities or STEM.
• Deliver instruction using Rocketship’s curriculum with adaptation as needed.
• Submit lesson plans for feedback and collaborate with coach.
• Analyze student data to guide planning and instruction.
• Partner with special education staff for inclusion.
• Support Social-Emotional Learning and Wellness initiatives.
• Engage families through consistent communication and annual home visits.
• Participate in weekly coaching and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and performance-based pay discussions.
