Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a valid Multiple Subject Teaching credential, or be eligible for PIP or STSP with CPR certification.
• Credential must be active and in good standing for duration of employment.
• Preferred: prior experience teaching in diverse school communities.

Responsibilities

• Build a classroom culture of excellence, belonging, and high expectations in Humanities or STEM.
• Deliver rigorous instruction using Rocketship’s curriculum and adapt to student needs.
• Submit lesson plans for coach feedback and refine instruction.
• Analyze student data regularly to guide planning and instruction.
• Partner with special education staff to include students with additional needs.
• Support the whole child through Social‑Emotional Learning and Wellness collaboration.
