POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking Long-Term Substitute Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year to serve students in grade K. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment; implement high-quality instruction aligned to curriculum standards; and support the academic, social, and emotional development of all students. Teachers must demonstrate a commitment to equity, student-centered learning, and ongoing professional growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas including literacy, math, science, and social studies
  • Create a supportive, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that promotes learning for all students
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English learners and students with IEPs/504s
  • Utilize formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction and track student progress
  • Establish clear routines, expectations, and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly classroom
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, specialists, and support staff to plan and implement effective instruction
