Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.

• Ability to design and develop curriculum for elementary grades.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials aligned to Michigan standards.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Support students who are behind or struggling to learn content.
• Collaborate with other teachers to improve lesson plans and learning outcomes.
• Communicate with students and parents regarding progress and needs.
• Establish clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Manage classroom behavior by enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline per school policies.
• Use formative, summative, and interim assessments to inform daily instruction.
• Create classroom assessments that measure student proficiency per Michigan standards.
