Job summary

New Haven Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Teacher for Grades 5/6 (ELA) at Barnard Magnet School in New Haven, CT. The teacher will deliver ELA instruction to students in grades 5 and 6 within the NHPS framework, emphasizing literacy, assessment, and student engagement.

Qualifications

  • CT State certification required for K-6 elementary or comparable.
  • Must possess and maintain Connecticut educator certification.
  • Experience in elementary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Salary: (contingent on degree and years of experience)
26-27 School Year: $53,220 - $108,047

Certification Requirements:
Must possess and maintain the certification requirements as established by Connecticut State Statutes.
