Job summary

Enlightium Academy in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Elementary Teacher to manage and educate students in a dynamic, asynchronous digital environment. This role involves guiding students through their spiritual and academic learning by responding to their questions, grading assignments, hosting group sessions, and creating engaging student-centered content.

You will also proactively reach out to students needing additional support, utilizing written communication, phone calls, and video/screen-sharing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• At least two years teaching experience in elementary subjects.
• Strong technical proficiency with digital tools.
• Excellent typing speed (45+ WPM).
• Proven ability to build rapport with students and parents.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and caring Elementary Teacher to manage and educate students in a dynamic, asynchronous learning, digital environment. This role involves guiding students through their spiritual and academic learning by responding to their questions, grading assignments, hosting group sessions, and creating engaging student-centered content. You will also proactively reach out to students needing additional support, utilizing written communication, phone calls, and video/screen-sharing sessions to ensure their success.

Key responsibilities include initiating meaningful dialogue with students, adhering to the established curriculum and timeline, and providing additional teaching materials when necessary. The ideal candidate will foster positive, professional relationships with students, parents, peers, and supervisors while maintaining appropriate boundaries with students.

Strong communication skills, subject mastery, and a passion for student well-being are essential in this position.

Salary & Hours

Compensation for this position depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, the approximate hourly pay range is $18-$24 per hour.

We are looking for a full-time individual who is located in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
