Job summary

Teachers On Demand ® is seeking an Elementary Long-Term Substitute Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in a K-5 setting. You will lead a joyful, rigorous classroom, helping scholars grow academically, build confidence, and develop character with a collaborative team and supportive coaching.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education and K-5 licensure with classroom experience; NC licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Educator Certification/Licensure in K-5.
• Experience teaching in a K–5 classroom.
• Familiarity with data-driven instruction and standards-based planning.
• Experience in a charter or mission-driven school environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

Highly Preferred:

• North Carolina Educator License in the appropriate grade band (Elementary Education K–5)

Pay:

• Long-Term (Degreed): $22.00 per hour
• Long-Term (Certified/ Ph.D.): $30.00 per hour
