Job summary

ISD728 is seeking an Elementary Targeted Services Teacher for a temporary assignment at Lincoln Elementary School. The role runs 1/11/27–3/5/27 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45am to 9:00am, including prep time.

Responsibilities include planning, instruction, assessment, and parent communication to support student progress. Duties include collaboration with staff, maintaining records, and ongoing professional development to meet district goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• Appropriate licensure for area of teaching is required.
• Demonstrated teaching skills are required.
• Good human relations skills are required.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plans instruction and daily lesson plans aligned with district goals.
• Provides classroom instruction and evaluates student performance.
• Interprets student progress to parents/guardians.
• Maintains grade book and communicates student progress.
• Collaborates with staff to meet student needs.
• Develops tests and reports grades to parents.
• Maintains knowledge of subject matter and district curriculum.
• Engages in professional development to improve teaching skills.
• Keeps accurate records and supports school objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
