Job summary

The Madison Metropolitan School District seeks a dedicated Elementary School Operations staff member at Lapham Elementary. You will provide instructional support and reinforce learning for students across academic, behavioral, and functional areas under supervision of a teacher.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or 48 credits required.
DPI certification required to work with disabled children.
Experience with cross-cultural settings and commitment to diversity is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional support and reinforce learning for students across academic, behavioral, and functional areas.
Prepare instructional materials and assist with data collection and progress tracking.
Supervise students during lunch, recess, field trips, and other activities as needed.
Assist with mobility and daily living activities as directed by staff.
Follow established behavior plans and ensure student safety and confidentiality.
