Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Elementary Teacher with Special Education to provide specialized learning experiences for students with disabilities in a supportive classroom.

You will implement IEP goals, assess progress, and coordinate with the school team to ensure access to the Common Core standards. The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with disabilities and knowledge of related regulations.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, assessment and program requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
• Familiarity with instructional strategies for diverse learners.
• Demonstrates integrity, initiative and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Implement educational program and IEP goals for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure access to the Common Core Standards.
• Maintain progress records and assist with evaluation and assessment of students.
• Participate in annual IEP development and reviews; communicate with the Child Study Team and parents.
• Establish and maintain a nurturing classroom environment and adhere to safety policies.
