Qualifications

• Must hold a New Jersey Middle School content area certificate with a Students with Disabilities certificate or hold a Teacher of the Handicapped certificate.
• Experience working with middle school students
• Knowledge of special education assessment and program requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the community
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
• Demonstrate integrity and good moral character
• Knowledge of child growth and development and research related to learning with exceptional needs
