Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) certified in the state of practice to work in a school setting. This is a contract, full time position in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities include developing and evaluating IEPs, coordinating with teachers and parents, and conducting assessments. The role requires NH licensure, SPED endorsement, and successful content-exam completion.

Qualifications

• Must have passed content exam.
• Must be special education endorsed.
• Must be licensed in state NH.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss pupil's progress and interpret the school program.
• Develop, implement, modify, and evaluate an appropriate IEP with the student's teachers and parents.
• Utilize the appropriate assessment procedures to assist with the provision of appropriate services.
• Schedule classes for remedial instruction.
• Prepare progress reports and year-end evaluations, giving pre- and post-tests as necessary.
