Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Elementary for a contract, full-time role in Nashville, TN. The position focuses on implementing IEPs and collaborating with the school team to support student outcomes.

The schedule is 8:00am to 3:00pm with weekly pay. A Bachelor's degree and a valid SPED teaching credential are required. Knowledge of curriculum and SPED policies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for SPED teaching.
• Valid Special Education teaching credential required.
• Knowledge of curriculum and SPED laws/policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students meet rigorous IEP goals alongside core content.
• Collaborate with school team, families and related service providers.
• Provide one-to-one or small group instruction per IEP requirements.
• Co-teach with general educators to ensure inclusive practices.
• Coordinate referrals and IEP meetings; assist with related services.
• Evaluate student abilities to inform education programs and progress.
• Collaborate with psychologists and service providers for assessments.
