Qualifications

• Experience working with K-12 students; two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with GPA at least 3.0; Master’s degree preferred.
• New York certification or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment.
• Build classroom community by partnering with families to support academic and personal growth.
• Utilize data from interim assessments to drive instruction and interventions.
• Implement unit and lesson plans with the grade or subject team.
• Exemplify AF’s core values in interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with coach and school team to improve instructional skills; attend PD and planning meetings.
