Qualifications

  • Valid Texas educational aide certificate is required.
  • Ability to work with children with disabilities.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Two years of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meeting the individual needs of students including physical support and personal care as needed.
  • Assist with implementing IEPs, including self-help, behavior management, and instructional activities.
  • Support student engagement and learning under supervision of a certified teacher.
  • Monitor and assist with daily classroom routines and transitions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow district safety protocols.
