Job summary

Navra is hiring an Elementary Resource Specialist Teacher in the Yuba City area. This school-based contract offers full-time hours (Mon–Fri) with the possibility to renew for the 2026–2027 school year and a compensation plan up to $70 per hour based on experience.

Successful candidates will have a degree in Special Education, experience developing IEPs, and strong communication with families and school teams. Navra supports staff with benefits, travel stipends, and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction based on students’ individual learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, service providers, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation.
• Implement accommodations and modifications and positive behavior supports.
