Job summary

The instructional aide position at Magnolia Science Academy 7 in Northridge, CA (91325) is a part-time daytime role offering $17.00–$24.00 per hour. You will assist the teacher, work with individual students or small groups, and help create a well-organized classroom environment aligned with instructional objectives.

Qualifications emphasize knowledge of instructional aide practices and, optionally, bilingual English/Spanish abilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of effective instructional aide principles, practices, and trends.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (but not required).
• Ability to perform responsibilities at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Executes instructional activities with individual students or small groups following teacher direction.
• Assists in preparation of materials for class and location of supplementary materials.
• Implements behavior management programs and records student behaviors.
• Monitors student use of instructional equipment.
• Maintains equipment cleaning and disinfecting as needed.
• Serves as information resource for substitute teachers.
• Maintains high ethical standards and confidentiality.
