Magnolia Public Schools at Magnolia Science Academy 5 in Reseda, CA is seeking an instructional aide to support teachers by working with students individually or in small groups to help them reach classroom objectives.

The role includes preparing materials, managing resources, and assisting with behavior support plans. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong ethics and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of effective instructional aide principles, practices, and trends.
• Bilingual (Eng/Esp) preferred (But not required)

Responsibilities

• Executes instructional activities with individual students or small groups under teacher direction.
• Assists in preparing class materials and locating supplementary resources.
• Implements behavior management plans; counts/records behaviors and applies PBIS procedures.
• Monitors student use of instructional equipment.
• Provides general maintenance of equipment including cleaning and disinfecting.
• Serves as a source of information and help to substitutes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintains high level of confidentiality of student information.
