Job summary

Fort Bend ISD is seeking an Aide Special Education Student Specific to provide individualized educational support to students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 48 college hours, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position may also require physical interventions and lifting for student support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 college hours or passing score on the Para Professional Assessment of Knowledge.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or required to obtain once hired.
• De‑Escalation/Restraint Certification preferred or required to obtain once hired.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support/services to a student with disabilities.
• Assist in classroom management and safety for the student.
• Record service implementation and collect data on student progress.
