Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject/level.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area.
• ESL certification required for designated positions (Pre-K to Elementary including SPED).
• Special Education certification required for Early Childhood campuses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction for individual student needs.
• Present content per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use effective instructional strategies and technology for learners.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with SPED staff to modify curricula per IEP.
• Plan goals with staff and participate in professional development.
• Maintain required records and reports.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
