Muskegon Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher - Resource Room at Oakview Elementary to support students with learning needs under the supervision of the Building Principal.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate; enrollment in a state-approved program to certification is also acceptable. Competitive benefits and a starting range provided in the salary section.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE.
• Bachelor's Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.
• Endorsements in Learning Disability (SM), Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Early Childhood (ZS) as applicable.
• Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district is preferred.

Salary/Benefits:

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package. Starting range $53,887-$78,454.
