Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a Long Term Per Diem Special Education Teacher for elementary grades at Kutz Elementary School. The substitute will deliver instruction aligned with PA standards and IEP requirements, maintaining orderly classrooms and supporting student progress.

Ideal candidates hold PA Special Education PK-8, or PK-12 certification, have a bachelor's degree, and can work the October 5 to November 4 window. Training for crisis prevention is provided by the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required). Elementary certification preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy for PA standards.
• Utilize crisis prevention techniques with students who require such in their IEP; training provided by CBSD.
