Qualifications

• Candidate holds or is eligible for Delaware Exceptional Children licensure in Special Education.
• Experience using student information systems for progress and grade reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver differentiated instruction in a classroom setting.
• Strong classroom management and leadership with collaborative skills.
• Ability to motivate students and communicate effectively with families.
• Record of professional conduct and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and unit lesson plans aligned to curriculum while integrating technology.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behavior; prepare progress reports.
• Provide timely, specific feedback to promote student engagement and achievement.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with staff to support students.
• Engage in extracurricular participation and professional development activities.
• Plan for substitutes and align instruction with state standards across content areas.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
