Job summary

Rocky Mountain Prep is seeking a full-time Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher in Denver to deliver inclusive, data-driven instruction. You will implement IEPs, conduct FBAs, and lead co-teaching and pull-out strategies in classrooms of up to 32 students.

Collaboration with general educators and families is essential for student growth. You’ll have a Colorado SPED license, experience with IDEA timelines, and a commitment to culturally responsive practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree (any subject).
• Current Colorado teaching license with special education endorsement(s).
• Pass a background check and demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with IDEA timelines.
• Conduct FBAs and create, monitor, and adjust BIPs.
• Deliver individualized instruction through push-in co-teaching and pull-out groups.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and families to ensure accommodations and supports are implemented.
• Coach and support paraprofessionals in providing interventions.
• Build strong, culturally responsive relationships with scholars and families.

Education
