Job summary

The Newgrange School of Princeton, Inc. seeks an Elementary Teacher to deliver standards-based instruction aligned with NJCCCS and support students' academic, social, and developmental growth.

The successful candidate will differentiate instruction, collaborate with families and colleagues, participate in IEP implementation, and maintain accurate records in compliance with NJDOE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• NJDOE fingerprinting and background check required
• Knowledge of effective instructional practices and developmentally appropriate strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with NJCCCS and student needs
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments
• Support and implement student IEP goals; attend meetings as required
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administrators
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in compliance with NJDOE requirements
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events
• Supervise students to ensure safety and well-being
• Support the mission, philosophy, and accreditation standards of The Newgrange School
