Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Coon Rapids, MN area. This in-person, full-time role (37.5 hours/week) requires a Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota SPED license and a background check.

You will collaborate with school teams to implement IEPs and support student progress. The company offers competitive pay ($52-55/hour), W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, a 401(k) with company match, licensure/CEU

Qualifications

• Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota Special Education teaching license required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
