Impact Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Commencement Bay Elementary in Tacoma. You will deliver IEP-aligned services, collaborate with general education staff, and implement individualized programs to support student growth.

You will participate in ARD meetings and contribute to curriculum adaptation for diverse learners. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, OSPI certification eligibility, and a passion for inclusive education.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• 1+ years experience delivering instruction in K-12 (preferred).
• OSPI special education certification or eligibility.
• Food handler certification or eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Special Education services in alignment with IEPs.
• Use instructional strategies and media to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curricula.
• Assist with ARD Committee meetings and IEP development.
• Prepare and maintain reports and monitoring tools for student progress.
• Support student daily living activities as needed.
• Maintain safe and compliant classroom environments.
