United Staffing Solutions is assisting a prestigious Manhattan private school in recruiting an Elementary School Special Education Teacher to teach 3rd or 5th grade. The role offers a salary range of $70,000–$85,000 DOE and a comprehensive benefits package.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with occasional evening or weekend hours. Candidates should hold a MA in Special Education and NYS certifications, plus strong communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• MA in Special Education or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a special education setting.
• NYS Certification in Special Education and NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty.

• Create academic plans and goals based on assessment data.
• Supervise a 1:1 classroom and 2:1 instructors in the classroom.
• Monitor and analyze each student’s progress related to communication, academics, behavior and social skills.
• Responsible for academic and behavior analytic assessments.
• Work with service providers, home base providers, parents and the multidisciplinary team.

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Elementary School Special Education Teacher to teach 3rd or 5th grade.

Salary - $70,000-$85,000 DOE
