Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires bilingual ability to communicate with students, families, and staff.
• High School Diploma required; higher education preferred for advancement.
• Previous experience in education or with special needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual or small groups of students to support instruction.
• Assist in administering, correcting and communicating basic analysis of student assessments.
• Provide feedback to teachers and follow IEP objectives for students with special needs.
• Assist in the delivery of differentiated instruction aligned with district curriculum.
• Help maintain records, attendance and assessments as directed by the teacher.
• Support in preparing classroom materials and managing daily living activities for students.
