Job summary

Qualifications

- State-certified as a Special Education teacher in Connecticut.
- Solid knowledge of SPED laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with diverse students preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs/PPTs tailored to individual students.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress.
- Participate in IEP/PPT meetings and other school meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEPs.
