Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and TEKS.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for differences in student learning styles and IEPs.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting learning styles; teach TEKS.
• Conduct assessments and use results to plan instruction.
• Work with staff to modify curricula for special education students per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
