Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary students at a welcoming school near Burlington, IN. Working with a supervising SLP, you will provide direct treatment activities and help growth in communication.

This full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri) offers collaborative teamwork, opportunities to document progress, prepare therapy materials, and participate in team meetings while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Hold current SLPA credentials (required).
• Experience supporting school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, preferred.
• Strong collaborative spirit; able to take direction from supervising SLP.
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families.
• Organizational abilities and a proactive, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct treatment activities for students as outlined by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
• Assist in documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare therapy materials and support classroom integration.
• Engage students in individual and small group interventions.
• Communicate progress and insights to the SLP and contribute to team meetings when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and professional guidelines.
