Job summary

Birch Agency in Grosse Pointe, MI is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve elementary students in person. This is a 30-hour-per-week assignment with an immediate start through June 2027.

You will assess and treat speech and language disorders, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with educators, families and the multidisciplinary team to support communication and learning. Master's in SLP and MI credentials required; CCC-SLP preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist credentials required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation.
• Support students' communication skills in educational settings.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district special education requirements.
