Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support an elementary caseload in a supportive school environment near Grain Valley, MO. You will provide direct therapy to students, focusing on communication skills that impact academics and social interaction.

Experience with AAC devices is highly valued. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and staff is essential to develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Missouri.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with AAC devices strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students on your caseload.
• Assess communication skills and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Implement, monitor, and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
• Train and support staff and caregivers in the effective use of AAC devices and strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements.
