ProCare Therapy seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in an elementary school near Grain Valley, MO. You will evaluate and treat students with complex communication needs, collaborating with teachers and families to implement IEPs and train staff on AAC devices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC or CFY status.
• Recent experience in schools and/or pediatric settings.
• Proficiency with AAC devices and tech-assisted communication.
• Passion for supporting nonverbal or minimally verbal students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evaluations and individualized treatment for students with complex communication needs.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families to develop and implement IEPs.
• Provide training on AAC devices for educational staff.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district guidelines.
• Serve as an advocate and resource for students using augmentative communication.
