Job summary

Townewest Elementary School is seeking dedicated tutors for an after-school science tutoring program for 5th grade students. The role involves small-group instruction, reinforcing grade-level science concepts in a supportive setting.

Hours are 10:45-11:45, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $20-25 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of elementary experience and strong communication skills to guide student growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom, tutoring, or academic support setting.
• Experience with science instruction for grades 5 preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with small groups.
