Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools is seeking a qualified Elementary Education teacher for a full-time role at a Tennessee campus. You will design weekly lesson plans, teach a common core based curriculum, integrate technology, and develop intervention plans to meet scholars’ needs.

Responsibilities include meeting with parents, reviewing assessments, collaborating with special educators in an inclusion setting, and participating in weekly professional development.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid TN teaching license in Elementary Education.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Proven track record of academic success preferred.

• Motivating scholars towards the achievement
• Meeting with parents regarding performance and conduct
• Developing scholar improvement plans
• Collaborating with special educators in a co-teaching model for students with IEP plans
• Working with school and network teams
• Attending weekly professional development
• Create and review student assessments
• Tutoring students/other duties as assigned
