Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Experience: at least one-year student teaching or internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate lessons for diverse learning styles.
• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use varied instructional materials and equipment.
• Assess student learning styles and plan accordingly.
• Collaborate with special ed for IEPs and with staff on goals.
• Plan and supervise teacher aide(s) and volunteers.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching/learning.
• Establish and maintain communication with parents and staff.
