KIPP New Jersey is seeking a motivated elementary school teacher to foster strong relationships and drive student achievement in Paterson, NJ. You will develop lessons aligned to curriculum and use data to tailor instruction for all learners.

You will collaborate with families, colleagues and participate in school events, meetings, and diagnostic testing while maintaining robust classroom management and progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NJ teaching certification or meet GPA requirements with Praxis where needed.
• Experience achieving student growth in a high-performing charter network is preferred.
• Commitment to serving diverse economically and culturally backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and align lesson plans with curriculum using data to drive instruction.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, families and colleagues to support progress.
• Maintain classroom management and monitor student progress regularly.
• Update performance trackers and adjust lessons to meet objectives.
• Participate in meetings and school events beyond regular hours.
