Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an onsite School Social Worker for a Maple Park, Illinois elementary school (K–5). The contract runs Aug 12, 2026 to Nov 4, 2026 with a potential extension.

You will work full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:35 PM, supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs in a collaborative setting. The ideal candidate holds an Illinois SSW License and PEL, has prior educational experience, and excels in teamwork and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois SSW License and PEL required.
• Experience as School Social Worker in educational setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development for elementary students.
• Commitment to safe, inclusive learning environments.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social/emotional and behavioral support to K–5 students.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on IEPs and interventions.
• Conduct student assessments and crisis interventions as needed.
• Support positive classroom relationships and school culture.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings.
• Advocate for student needs and access to resources.
