Job summary

ConnectedHealth in Golden, Colorado is seeking a School Social Worker to provide comprehensive services to elementary students in individual and group settings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field, state licensure, CPR/First Aid, and at least 1 year of experience. The 36-week contract offers benefits and housing/travel stipends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or equivalent.
• Valid Colorado School Social Work Certification or Licensure.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a School Social Worker or in a similar setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start.
• Must be flexible, compassionate, and dedicated to student success.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive social work services to elementary school students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans.
• Identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Conduct evaluations and provide counseling to facilitate positive student outcomes.
• Document and maintain confidential student records and progress reports.
