Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support elementary students near Steinhatchee, FL. This onsite contract role offers flexible full- or part-time schedules to meet your lifestyle while empowering young learners.

You will deliver direct therapy, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers and families. A TX SLP license is required, with school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid TX Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, particularly elementary level.
• Understanding of IEP processes, goal-setting, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, both in individual and group settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and track student progress.
• Support teachers and families by sharing strategies to improve student communication skills in the classroom and at home.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based educational planning.
• Advocate for student needs while adhering to ethical guidelines and school policies.
