Job summary

School District 27J is seeking a School Psychologist or School Social Worker for Brantner Elementary (K-5). The role coordinates assessments, consultations with staff and families, and intervention planning to foster a safe school environment and support student success.

The position requires completing evaluations for eligibility, managing IEP processes, providing short-term counseling, and collaborating on behavior and social-emotional goals within IEPs and 504 plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Special Services License in School Psychology from Colorado Department of Education
• Ed.S or PhD in School Psychology is required
• Valid National Certificated School Psychologist is required
• Applicants are encouraged to have a DORA license in Clinical Psychology, but not required

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the building level PST to assist in developing intervention plans
• Consult with school staff regarding implementation of research-based interventions for mental health/behavioral concerns
• May involve modifying classroom environment, instructional styles or expectations
• May involve liaison between school, family and outside agencies
• Perform comprehensive educational evaluations to identify academic skills, learning aptitudes, personality and social development

DORA license in Clinical Psychology (encouraged)
