27J Schools is seeking a School Psychologist or School Social Worker for Brantner Elementary School (K-5) in the Denver metro area. The role coordinates assessments, consults with staff and families, and promotes a safe, supportive learning environment that advances student success.

The position requires a valid Colorado Special Services License in School Psychology, an Ed.S or PhD in School Psychology, and NCSP credential. Collaboration with a high-functioning team is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Special Services License in School Psychology from the Colorado Department of Education.
• Ed.S or PhD in School Psychology required.
• National Certified School Psychologist certification required.
• DORA license in Clinical Psychology encouraged but not required.

Responsabilités

• Participate as a PST member to develop intervention plans based on identified needs.
• Consult with staff on research-based interventions for mental health/behavior concerns.
• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify academic skills and social/emotional development.
• Facilitate Initial Eligibility IEP process and ensure compliance with IDEA and state laws.
• Provide short-term counseling services aligned with IEP goals.
• Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans and IEP goals related to behavior.
• Participate in crisis intervention and provide resources to students and families.
• Provide consultation to 504 teams when requested by district/building coordinators.
• Follow district policies and professional guidelines with sound professional judgment.
