Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to provide comprehensive support in an elementary school for the full school year. This is a full-time, contract position designed for a dynamic professional aiming to positively impact students’ well-being and academic success.

The role requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, valid licensure, and elementary school experience. Responsibilities include assessments, collaboration, counseling, and IEP participation, with a focus

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid certification/licensure for School Psychology
• Experience in an elementary school strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students to support individualized learning strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design interventions and promote student success
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention support as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop appropriate educational plans
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and professional standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
