Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist to support K-5 students in a collaborative elementary school environment in Rhode Island. This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on student assessment and program development, working with dedicated education professionals to drive student achievement and well-being.

The role emphasizes eligibility determinations, IEP development, and data-driven decision making in a supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Psychology and valid state certification/licensure.
• Experience in elementary settings preferred.
• Knowledge of eligibility determination and student evaluations.
• Strong IEP development knowledge and legal requirements.
• Comfort with risk and threat assessment protocols.
• Effective communicator with educators, families and teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility determinations and initial/re-evaluations for K-5 students.
• Participate in IEP development, documentation and team meetings.
• Join risk and threat assessment team with assessments and recommendations.
• Provide consultation and resources to building staff and student support teams.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records per policies and laws.
• Support inclusive learning environments using data-driven practice.
