Job summary

Walpole Public Schools seeks an elementary School Psychologist to serve at Old Post Road and Boyden Elementary Schools, starting August 31, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves evaluations, IEP and 504 participation, counseling, consultation, and collaboration with staff, parents, and students.

Responsibilities include IEP/504 team participation, crisis intervention, and district Medicaid billing.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license or eligibility.
• Strong understanding of educational psychology, behavioral interventions and special education processes.

• Active School Psychologist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Strong understanding of educational psychology, behavioral interventions, and special education processes.

Team Chair(s)/Building Principal(s)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations within the context of special education eligibility and IEP development.
• Be an active member of IEP teams and assist in IEP development.
• Be an active member of 504 teams and participate in meetings as needed.
• Provide IEP based counseling services as assigned.
• Provide consultation to staff, parents, and students as needed.
